After years of laughter and mischief in the circus, Rico the clown is abruptly fired from the circus where he worked for the last few years.
Times were changing, and the circus needed to renew itself to attract new audiences. Heartbroken, jobless and heartbroken, he leaves the big top where he had so many adventures, taking with him only a boot full of memories and his old clown costume.
In his loneliness, he begins to remember his life in the circus: the smiles, the applause and the performances of his companions.
Rico is moved to discover that his real audience is not in the big top, but in every heart that listens to him and he realises that the real magic is inside him.
