Pífia

“PÍFIA” is a contemporary circus and clown show. Through error and humour, it offers an absurd and critical perspective on the world of work. A dull-witted, tender and deeply overwhelmed supervisor, a kind of patron saint of functional incompetents, will try to maintain order in a world that is collapsing around him. Like Sisyphus in a high-visibility vest, the character insists on putting back together a system that falls apart faster than he can fix it. A subtle satire of the contemporary logic of productivity. At some point, we have all been that worker who pretends to be in control while secretly hoping that nothing explodes. We have all smiled at our own incompetence because the alternative was to admit our exhaustion. What is our place within a system that demands more from us than we can sustain? A cry for freedom.
