IETM is looking for an Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant whose role will be to help IETM’s Secretariat to execute administrative tasks, namely to maintain and develop an efficient administrative system of the organisation.
In collaboration with the Administration and Membership Officer, the Administrative Assistant will work in the following areas: administration of membership management, basic accounting, planning and reporting, financial support, event administration, office management.
The Administrative Assistant will also help to implement administrative software tools that contribute to the efficient network management.
This position is interesting for someone with 1-2 years experience and / or training in cultural management, and who wishes to acquire professional experience and master the basics of administration at an international cultural organisation.

Languages: excellent knowledge of English and French is required. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Office: excellent knowledge of Excel and facilities with the CMS software (CiviCRM) is essential.
The IETM Secretariat is based in Brussels since 1989. It’s an international team of 8 full-time employees and occasional interns. The staff includes the Secretary General, Project Manager Meetings, Administration and Membership Officer, Communication Officer, Project Manager Research and Publications, Administrative Assistant, Communication Assistant and Production Assistant.
Experience and personal qualities: an eye for detail and accuracy, excellent social and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, proficiency with computer tools (database, accounting software), a good sense of humour, ability to wok in a team; ideally with knowledge and interest in the contemporary performing arts in Europe and beyond.
It is a position based in Brussels. Occasional travel is required
Salary: around 2 000 EUR gross per month (1400 EUR Net) based on the number of years of experience.
Term of Contract: 12 months full-time
