APCC was born as a result of the “Journeys about circus in memoriam Joan Armengol” that took place in the Ateneu Popular de Nou Barris on 22nd and 23th October in 2004. APCC is the natural continuation of the former Circus Association of Catalonia (ACC, 1991-1998). Upon approval of the statutes drafted and presented by the Center for Interim Manager, the APCC was constituted at a meeting held at the Teatre Lliure on December 20, 2004.
